Born in Peru, South America, Hansy discovered a love for drawing, art, and Japanese culture from a young age. In 2001, he moved to the Pacific Northwest and immediately fell in love with its forests, mountains, and rhythm of rain and light.
Five years later, at the Seattle Flower and Garden Show, Hansy met his greatest inspiration — Dan Robinson — who opened his eyes to seeing trees in a completely new way. He learned to recognize the deep relationship between trees, rocks, and time, and how natural forces create the drama and beauty that define every living composition.
Now based in Belfair, Washington, Hansy leads a young company — only three years old but unique in its style — blending bonsai artistry and landscape design into living works of art.
When he’s not designing or pruning, Hansy spends time with his three amazing kids, hiking, exploring, and learning from nature itself. Every walk through the forest brings new ideas and inspiration — direct from Mother Earth.

Our Philosophy
We blend time-honored Japanese design elements—such as asymmetrical balance, thoughtfully arranged stone, evergreen structure, and symbolic water features—with locally sourced materials like native river rock, driftwood, and Pacific Northwest evergreens. The aim is always to evoke peace, evoke discovery, and foster a deep connection with nature.
Year‑round structure: Evergreen shrubs and sculptural stone maintain visual interest through all seasons.
Water symbolism: Dry creek beds, gentle streams, or designed waterfalls bring movement and a sense of flow—without excessive maintenance.
Local materials: Driftwood, moss, river stone, and native plants make each design authentically rooted in place.
Personalized design process with options tailored to vision, scale, and budget.
Expertise in structural elements: from stone patios, walls, and steps to integrated water features.
Ongoing care and adaptations to let gardens evolve beautifully over time.
